Natural Acne Scars Treatment
Before trying any natural home remedy for acne scars and marks, make sure to wash your face with warm water. Don't forget to test the product on a small patch of skin to make sure it doesn't produce irritation or an allergic reaction. Also keep in mind that a gentler version of the following remedies can be achieved by using small amounts of water.
Garlic
Garlic is considered a wonder food for its many health properties. In addition to being a wonderful seasoning for all kinds of foods it has also been used to treat acne scars. Nevertheless, if you choose to use garlic, take care to rinse the product off immediately if you feel any burning sensation.
To use the garlic, finely grate one clove of garlic and mix it with two tablespoons of water. Apply the paste directly to the area and massage carefully. The garlic exfoliates the skin and removes a layer of scar tissue, so don't let it set for more than 5 minutes.
Always apply aloe vera directly to the treated area after you have washed off the garlic paste. Aloe vera will rehydrate your skin and protect it without causing further irritation.
Lemons and Tomatoes
Both lemons and tomatoes are fruits that are high in citric acid which has excellent properties for cleaning and rejuvenating the skin. They have been used for years in natural skin treatments. Due to their high Vitamin A content, tomatoes in particular reduce the production of sebum.
If you choose lemon juice, simply squeeze one tablespoon of juice. Simply apply the lemon juice with a cotton ball to your skin before bedtime. Rinse it off after ten minutes and use a mild cleanser.
If you choose tomato juice, you can also apply it directly to the skin with a cotton ball. Rinse after 10 minutes.
It is advisable to used fresh natural products. Canned products contain preservatives and additives that my cause side effects and reduce the effect of the natural components.
These are not the only natural remedies that can be used to treat acne scarring. Don't forget that the results attained with natural scar treatment can vary greatly from one person to the next.
