Regenerating Aging Skin
Have you ever caressed the smooth, perfect skin of a newborn? It is wonderful to experience something so perfect and blemish free. With the passing of time, our skin gets battered by so many environmental factors and stress, robbing us of that perfect, radiant skin that we all had as babies. Luckily for us, our skin has an excellent way to rejuvenate itself and keep itself youthful longer. When we are children, about every 2-3 weeks, our skin is completely replenished. The surface layers fall off, leaving the unexposed lower layer, which comes to the top, stays for a few weeks, and then the process starts all over again. This explains how children can play in the mud, dirt, and be exposed to the elements all day, every day, and still have great skin! Most kids couldn't care less about skin creams, moisturizers, or anything like that, but it doesn't matter, because their skin does its job very well.
If our skin has this great system of auto-renewal, what happens as we grow up? Have you ever noticed the difference between a senior citizen's skin and a baby's skin? Most older people have skin that is rough, thick, and many times with discolored skin or fine lines. What is the cause of this?
Little by little, our skin begins to stop renewing itself as frequently as it did before. Rather than shedding the dead skin cells, they start to collect on the surface of the skin, causing the layers to get thicker and rougher. Instead of shedding age spots, they just remain. Even worse, we lose approximately 10% of our epidermal cells per decade, reducing our ability to make more healthy layers of skin. In addition, often, not as much moisture gets to the top layer of the skin, resulting in fine lines, wrinkles, and the droopy skin we often see in our older family and friends.
Wouldn't you love to reverse this downhill process and have the same protection and renewal that your skin had when you were a child? I think that all of this want that, but the question is, how to obtain it. If the problem is that our skin is building up dead skin cells, the only solution to this problem is to give the skin a helping hand to get rid of these excessive cells and bring out the fresh layer below. This way, we can also help more moisture to rise to the top layer of the skin, decreasing fine lines and wrinkles.
Aging Skin - Reversing the Effects
A fantastic way to help our skin rejuvenate itself is applying products without artificial chemicals which speed skin cell renewal and help dispose of the dead skin cells which are currently clogging the surface of your skin. Choose wisely, however, and make sure you use a product which will not only take care of the dead skin cells, but will also help your skin to produce more new skin cells. Also, make sure that the cream doesn't include harsh chemicals and is all natural. If you follow these suggestions, you can be sure that your face will look younger and more beautiful than ever in no time flat!
If you have felt a newborn's skin recently, you know how soft and moisturized it is. That is the same skin you were born with! Learn how to turn back the clock and get rid of your wrinkles and fine lines once and for all with this wrinkle cream that can regenerate damaged skin.
