Aromatherapy Can Relax — But Which Scent Helps Memory?

I have a quick “smelly” quiz for you today. What is the natural scent that people use most often to relax? I bet you know the answer to this one. The most relaxing scent is Lavender! Even people not especially interested in aromatherapy have used lavender as the preferred scent for relaxation.

But did you know that there are other scents that are used improve mood, clear your mind, or help your memory? Well, that’s what I’m going to reveal to you today!

Here are the other aromatherapy scents you might want to consider adding into your day or night:

Peppermint Oil – Helps improve mood and helps you stay alert.

Rosemary – Stimulates your memory and helps clear the mind. (You could try this before you go to bed if you’re trying to get into your subconscious dreams).

Lemon – Improves mood.

So you see, aromatherapy is not just for relaxing anymore. If you are going through your day in a bad mood, why not get some tea with lemon, after you add the lemon to your tea, just take a moment to smell it and see what happens.

No one wants to be around someone whose in a bad mood, and if it’s as easy as smelling a lemon to change things around, why not give it a try.
